About the event

This 6-week course is for adults who have, or suspect they have ADHD. You do not require a diagnosis of ADHD to take part in this course.

It is run by the Procrastination Station and can help you to gain greater self-awareness, implement effective strategies and in turn effectively manage your ADHD symptoms.

The course covers information and strategies for dealing with: emotional dysregulation (inc. RSD); executive dysfunction (working memory, impulse control, organisation, time management etc.); habits and how to free ourselves from any negative behaviour patterns, including negative self-talk. We also discuss the importance of connection and self-care and have an entire session on ADHD presentations and the impact of hormones on ADHD symptoms.

We have run this course previously, and had overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants.

The first meeting will take place in person, the four following sessions will be online, and the final week will also be in person.

This course will take place online via zoom, with the in-person sessions being in either Ayr, Kilmarnock or Irvine. It runs on Monday or Wednesday evenings, from 7.00pm-8.30pm

Each participant will receive a workbook, which will be collected at the first in-person session.

We already have a significant waiting list for this course but please RSVP and when we are able to offer you a place, we will be in touch with full details of dates and locations. This course is being run regulary throughout the year.

Please email us on info@nest.scot if you have any queries about the course!
