Autism and ADHD in Girls & Women

Autism in girls & women

While the gap in overall prevalence of autism between women and men has been narrowing over the past years, girls and women are still being diagnosed with autism less than boys and men. This is often due to autism symptoms presenting slightly differently or being overlooked in girl. Not only can this mean that girls and women find it harder to get support, but they may also have different needs than boys and men with autism.
