Who are we?
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is based around three locality teams, consisting of specialist clinicians who can offer assessment and a range of interventions.
What do we do?
Interventions can vary from short term treatments for those with mild to moderate mental health problems; to more complex treatments for children and young people experiencing more severe and complex problems. Assessment and treatment can be offered to children from age five age 18. A small number of children may require support under the age of five in partnership with other child health colleagues.
