A gentle introduction to sexual health, this relaxed, informal session focuses on the importance of acknowledging a child/young person’s sexuality as part of their identity, as well as helping to protect them against vulnerabilities.
During this relaxed and informal session, parents and carers have a chance to talk to Corrie and learn more about puberty and growing up including:
· Some of the basics of sexuality and autism and/or learning disability
· Understanding more about the law
· Understanding the risks of sexual exploitation
· Considering some of the key topics in relationships and sexual health you may deal with on a regular basis.
