About the event
PALS is a group for parents/carers of young people (age 6 and above) with a diagnosis of Intellectual (Learning) Disability.
The group will be run by a Clinical Psychologist and a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology from the Community Paediatric Psychology Service located within Rainbow House. The group aims to provide parents/carers with a greater understanding of what it means for their child to have a diagnosis of Intellectual (Learning) Disability.
Parents/carers are welcome whether their child has recently received a diagnosis or their child has had a diagnosis for a number of years. The group enables opportunities to discuss different stages of development and provides an opportunity for parents/carers to meet other parents and share helpful information.
**One registration covers all six sessions. Please ensure you can attend all dates.**
