Who are we?
Registered in 2018, FASD Awareness is a charitable organisation with a clear vision – where all people are aware of the dangers of alcohol use during pregnancy and mothers are supported to stay healthy and strong during pregnancy, and individuals living with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) are identified, recognised, valued and supported.
What do we do?
Working towards a better future. Offering support, education, training, research and information on
Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD).
Our main aim is to support the prevention of alcohol exposed pregnancies and to improve the quality of life for those living with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) and their parents and carers. Our vision is to be a strong and effective voice for individuals and families living with FASD, while supporting initiatives across the UK to promote prevention, diagnosis, intervention and management.
