Celebrating Neurodiversity at Scotland's First National Neurodiversity Show 🥳

On Friday, members of our team, Celine, Alison, Kirsty and Lizzy, had the privilege of attending the very first National Neurodiversity Show in Scotland, and what an incredible day it was.

With over 800 people in attendance, the event brought together individuals, organisations, professionals, advocates and families from across Scotland and beyond, all united by a shared commitment to improving understanding, awareness and inclusion for neurodivergent people.

Throughout the day, the team had the opportunity to connect with exhibitors, attend inspiring discussions and learn about the innovative work taking place across the neurodiversity community.

The passion, expertise and lived experiences shared throughout the event created a truly positive and empowering atmosphere.

One of the highlights of the day was unexpectedly bumping into so many familiar faces from Ayrshire. It was fantastic to see local organisations, professionals and individuals represented at such a significant national event. These connections reminded us just how strong and supportive our local community is when it comes to championing inclusion and creating opportunities for everyone.

The event not only showcased the progress being made across the neurodiversity space but also highlighted the importance of continuing conversations, collaboration and learning.

We came away feeling inspired, motivated and excited about how we can continue to support neurodivergent individuals in our own work and communities.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in organising Scotland's first National Neurodiversity Show. Creating such a vibrant, welcoming and informative event is no small achievement, and it was evident just how much effort and dedication had gone into making the day such a success.

We're already looking forward to seeing how the event grows in the future and, most importantly, we can't wait for next year's show!
