At NEST (Neurodevelopmental Empowerment Strategy Team), we believe that supporting neurodivergent individuals and families starts with people who are passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to making a difference.
Our team is made up of friendly faces from across Ayrshire, each bringing unique skills and experiences - but united by a shared goal: empowering Ayrshire’s neurodiverse communities.
David Campbell – Programme Lead 💙
David is our Neurodevelopmental Programme Lead, overseeing the NEST service and ensuring we’re always working in line with our values of inclusion, empowerment, and community. He provides leadership, guidance, and a clear vision to help NEST grow and adapt to meet the needs of families across Ayrshire.
Project Co-Ordinators 💜
Our Project Co-Ordinators are at the heart of NEST’s work. They deliver workshops, provide advice and guidance, and work closely with families, carers, professionals, and neurodivergent individuals to make sure support is accessible and meaningful.
Celine Dyer – East Ayrshire
Clare Kennedy – South Ayrshire
Alison Clark – North Ayrshire
Carla Morton – Peripatetic (working part-time across Ayrshire as needed)
Together, they bring creativity, expertise, and compassion to every project and workshop.
Secretaries 💚
Leanne and Jennifer provide vital behind-the-scenes support as our Secretaries. They keep things organised, ensure communication runs smoothly, and help make sure families and professionals can easily access NEST resources. Their work helps the whole team run efficiently and effectively.
Why our team matters
We know that navigating neurodivergence can sometimes feel overwhelming - but you’re not alone. Each member of our team is here to support, listen, and empower. Whether it’s through workshops, resources, or just a friendly conversation, we’re committed to creating a community where everyone feels understood and included.
We’re proud of the people behind NEST, and we can’t wait to continue working with families, professionals, and communities across Ayrshire. ✨
