This month, we’re proudly taking part in Tourette’s Awareness Month—a time to shine a light on Tourette Syndrome (TS), challenge misconceptions, and amplify the voices of those with lived experience.
At NEST, we believe in creating space where neurodivergent people are understood, accepted, and celebrated. That’s why we’re lacing up our shoes with a splash of teal—because inclusion starts with awareness, and every conversation counts.
👟 Spot our teal shoelaces? That’s us standing in solidarity with the Tourette community.

We’re so grateful to Tourette Scotland for sending us their wonderful awareness packs—filled with wristbands, badges, and even a fuzzy wee friend or two!
These small but meaningful items help us open up conversations and show visible support for those affected by TS.

Why This Matters
Tourette Syndrome is often misunderstood. It’s not just about tics—it’s about people. People with strengths, challenges, humour, creativity, and resilience. Awareness months like this one give us a chance to learn, listen, and make space for those stories to be heard.
At NEST, we’re committed to:
Championing neurodiversity
Sharing accurate information
Promoting kindness and inclusion in schools, homes, and communities
💬 Let’s keep the conversation going—online, in classrooms, and around kitchen tables. The more we understand, the more inclusive our world becomes.

Together, we can turn awareness into action. 💙
