FAQ: How Much Does It Cost to Access NEST? ❓

Updated: 2 days ago

One of the questions we’re asked most often is about cost—and the good news is, there’s no charge at all.

NEST is a free service provided by NHS Ayrshire & Arran.

We’re here to support neurodivergent individuals and the people who care for, live with, or work alongside them - including families, carers, and professionals.

🧠 What Does “Free to Access” Actually Mean?

When we say NEST is free, we really mean it.

You don’t need to pay to:

  • Attend our workshops

  • Speak with a member of our team

  • Get practical advice or strategies

  • Access downloadable resources

  • Ask questions or seek support

Our aim is to break down barriers to support - not create more of them.

🤝 Who Can Access NEST?

If you live in Ayrshire and are neurodivergent, care for someone who is, or work with children, young people, or adults with neurodevelopmental needs, we’re here for you.

You don’t need a formal diagnosis to access our services, and there’s no referral required. We aim to make our support as accessible and inclusive as possible.
