We’re excited to share a brilliant opportunity for families of children and young people who use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)!
Join the AAC Scotland Network Family Fun Day
📅 Saturday 4th October 2025
⏰11am–4pm
📌Craigalbert Centre, Cumbernauld.
This free event is open to families of children aged 3–16 with additional support needs, and offers a fun, inclusive space to explore communication supports and assistive technology—while enjoying games, snacks, and hands-on activities!
🧩 What to Expect:
Chat with experienced staff about AAC technology and software
Demonstrations and hands-on time with assistive tech and toys
Smart Wheelchair rides, games, prizes, and more!
Lunch and refreshments provided
Drop in for a couple of hours or stay all day!

This event is run by specialist staff from CALL Scotland, FAACT, AAC Lothian, SCTCI, and others, and is funded by the AAC Scotland Network.
