t’s Foster Care Fortnight — a time to recognise and celebrate the incredible individuals and families who open their hearts and homes to children in need of safety, care, and connection.
At NEST , we stand in deep appreciation of foster carers, especially those supporting neurodivergent young people. These carers play a vital role in creating environments where children can feel understood, valued, and safe to be themselves.
🧠 Neurodivergent children may experience the world differently — and with the right support, they can thrive. Foster carers who approach their role with compassion, patience, and a willingness to learn can make a life-changing difference.
💛 Whether it’s offering a calm space, advocating for inclusive education, or simply being a consistent and caring presence, foster carers are helping to shape brighter futures — one child at a time.
This Foster Care Fortnight, we say:
🧡Thank you for your kindness.
🧡Thank you for your resilience.
🧡Thank you for your unwavering belief in the potential of every child.
