Are you a parent or carer of an autistic young person aged 10–16?
The National Autistic Society Scotland is offering a fantastic opportunity this June — the Teen Life Programme, a free, six-session course designed to help you better understand and support your autistic child.
🧠 What is Teen Life?
Teen Life is a supportive and informative programme created specifically for parents and carers of autistic young people. Whether your child has a formal diagnosis or not, this course is open to you.
🌟 What You’ll Learn:
Understanding autism and developing a positive autistic identity
Managing stress, anxiety, and behaviour
Supporting health and wellbeing
Navigating puberty and adolescence
Planning for education and the future
💬 This is a safe, welcoming space to ask questions, share experiences, and gain practical tools that can make a real difference in your family’s day-to-day life.
📍 Who Can Attend?
This workshop is intended for parents and carers only — not for teenagers themselves. A formal diagnosis is not required to participate.
📧 How to Book:
Spaces are limited and fill up quickly. To reserve your place or find out more, email:autismsupportayrshire@nas.org.uk
📝 Please Note: This is not a NEST-run programme — we’re simply sharing this opportunity to support families in our community,
