If you're looking for practical advice and professional support, a fantastic drop-in opportunity is available to help you feel more equipped and connected.

What’s On Offer?

Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy teams in East Ayrshire are offering virtual drop-in appointments for parents and carers of children who are:

• On the Autistic Spectrum, or

• Have similar social communication challenges

• 
  

These appointments offer advice around:

✔️ Communication development

✔️ Emotional regulation

✔️ Sensory needs

✔️ Practical support strategies at home

📅 When and How?

📍 When: The first Tuesday of each month

🕐 Time: 1.30pm to 4.00pm

📍 Where: Online via virtual appointment

This is a great way to access personalised advice from qualified professionals, in a supportive and understanding space.

2. Include your name and your child’s name

3. Use ‘ASD Drop-in’ as the subject line

   
   

You’ll receive a reply with your appointment time and instructions on how to join the virtual session.

ℹ️ Important to Know

⚠️ These drop-ins are for children not currently on the Speech and Language Therapy or Occupational Therapy caseload. If your child already has a named therapist, please contact them directly for advice.
