Are you a young person with additional support needs looking to gain real-world work experience and build confidence for the future?
Ayrshire College is now recruiting for the Project SEARCH (Culzean) programme — starting August 2025 — and there are still places available!
🌟 What is Project SEARCH?
Project SEARCH is a full-time, 36-week programme designed for young people aged 17–29 living in South Ayrshire who have learning difficulties and/or are on the autistic spectrum.
The course is based at the National Trust for Scotland’s Culzean estate and focuses on preparing interns for employment in the wider community.
🛠️ What You’ll Gain:
Three different work placements across areas like gardening, hospitality, catering, retail, and housekeeping
Daily support from instructors, job coaches, and mentors
Practical skills in ICT, communication, and interview techniques
Personal development through self-awareness and goal setting
A stronger foundation for future employment opportunities
📍 Location: Culzean Estate, near Maybole
📅 Start Date: August 2025
