Meet Celine Dyer – Championing Inclusion in East Ayrshire! ✨

Updated: Nov 13

Hi, I'm Celine! 👋

I'm proud to be the East Ayrshire Project Co-Ordinator for the Neurodevelopmental Empowerment Strategy team (NEST).

My role is all about creating spaces where neurodivergent people and their families feel seen, heard, valued and accepted.

I joined NEST in November 2023, bringing a mix of lived experience and professional experience to everything I do.

Why Inclusion Matters to Me 🙂

As a neurodivergent individual and former young carer, I know first-hand how important it is to feel understood and supported. These experiences fuel my passion for empowerment and community building.

I've worked in the third sector, early years and education, and I'm committed to leading conversations that drive real change for neurodivergent individuals across Ayrshire.

What Makes Me Shine? 🌟

✅ A thoughtful, authentic approach

✅ A deep belief in the strength of neurodiversity

✅ Warmth and creativity in every interaction

Whether I'm advising a family, collaborating with partners, or sharing my story, I aim to bring empathy and insight to everything I do.

What People Say About Me 💬

The rest of the NEST team often describe me as bubbly, funny and full of energy.

They appreciate my vibrant personality and the way I bring warmth and positivity into every conversation.

I'm known for being thoughtful and authentic, always looking for ways to celebrate uniqueness and make people feel included.

The team say that my enthusiasm and commitment to inclusion make me a vital part of NEST - and honestly, that's the best compliment I could ask for!

A Few Fun Facts About Me 🐢

I'm a night owl through and through - early morning are definitely not my thing! 🌙

When it comes to food, I'll never say no to cheese, and if you add a cold crisp Coca-Cola, I'll quickly become your best friend. 🧀🥤

I absolutely love autumn - the colours, the crisp air, and that cosy feeling 🍂

And if you're wondering about my favourite animal? Definitely Sea Turtles. I might be a little obsessed! There's something so calm and resilient about them that I really admire. 🐢
