💬 Meet Celine: A Journey of Neurodivergent Strength and Self-Acceptance

At NEST, we’re proud to spotlight the voices of our team—and today, we invite you to meet Celine, one of our amazing project coordinators.

In this heartfelt video, Celine shares her personal journey of being neurodivergent, offering a glimpse into her life, challenges, and the strengths that shape who she is.

“I grew up in a neurodivergent household… being neurodiverse was normal.”

With a family full of neurodivergent individuals—her mum with ADHD, her dad with autism, and three sisters with both autism and ADHD—Celine’s upbringing was vibrant, dynamic, and full of learning. That experience laid the foundation for her passion: supporting others who are neurodivergent.

From Lived Experience to Lifelong Advocacy

Celine turned her personal experience into purpose. She ran a charity supporting autistic and neurodiverse individuals and now brings that same passion to her work at NEST.

“I always say that neurodivergent people have a special interest—and I made mine neurodivergence.”

She’s also open about her academic journey, her dyspraxia, and how she navigates change, anxiety, and the ups and downs of daily life. Her honesty is both relatable and empowering.

💙 A Message of Empowerment

Despite the challenges, Celine wouldn’t change being neurodivergent.

“The way I see the world is so unique… I can relate to people who are struggling and actually help them.”

Her story is a powerful reminder that neurodiversity is something to be understood, embraced, and celebrated.
