Hi, I’m Lizzy! 👋
I’m really proud to be the Neurodevelopmental Learning and Development Advisor for NEST.
When I first saw this role advertised, it honestly felt like it had been written just for me. I’ve always been passionate about inclusion, especially around neurodivergence, and I knew that my mix of lived experience and professional background could help make a real difference.
In my role, I get to create and deliver bespoke workshops across the Health and Social Care Partnership. It’s a brilliant opportunity to amplify neurodivergent voices, build confidence and understanding, and help shape truly inclusive practice.
Why Inclusion Matters to Me 🙂
Inclusion isn’t just part of my job - it’s something I genuinely care about.
My lived experience has shaped how I see the world, and it fuels my desire to make sure neurodivergent people feel understood, respected and supported in every space.
I love creating learning sessions where people feel safe to ask questions, challenge assumptions and celebrate the diversity within their teams and communities.
What Makes Me Shine 🌟
People who know me often describe me as:
✅ Loyal
✅ Patient
✅ Empathetic
These strengths really shape how I deliver training and how I connect with others. I enjoy taking time to listen, understand different perspectives and bring warmth and clarity into every session.
What People Say About Me 💬
I’m known for being thoughtful, approachable and committed to getting things right for individuals and families.
Colleagues appreciate my calmness, my ability to break things down simply, and the genuine care I put into every conversation and workshop.
