Exam Results Day: A Message from NEST 🎓

Whether you’ve been sitting exams yourself or supporting someone who has, Results Day can bring a rollercoaster of emotions, relief, pride, anxiety, uncertainty, or even disappointment.

At NEST, we want to pause and say this clearly:

Your worth is not defined by a grade.

For many neurodivergent young people, exams don’t reflect the full picture. You may have faced extra challenges with sensory regulation, processing time, anxiety, executive functioning, or simply the format itself. And yet, here you are. Showing up. That in itself is a massive achievement.

To those opening envelopes or checking results today:

• You deserve to be proud of the effort it took to get here.

  
  

• It’s okay if you need time to process.

  
  

• And it’s okay if you feel unsure about what comes next.
