The Autism Support Ayrshire (National Autistic Society) has shared some helpful tips to make Halloween more manageable and enjoyable for everyone 👻

One great idea is to create a visual map of your trick-or-treating route. This helps prepare your child for:
Which houses they’ll visit
Who might answer the door
What the environment might look like
You can even use tools like Google Street View to explore the route together in advance. This can help reduce uncertainty and build confidence.
