🧠 Who Are NEST?

Updated: May 27

Welcome to NEST — the Neurodevelopmental Empowerment & Strategy Team.

At NEST, we’re here to empower children, young people, adults, and families across Ayrshire who are living with or exploring neurodevelopmental differences, such as Autism, ADHD, and Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).

💡 Our Purpose

Our aim is simple:

To empower individuals and their families by providing the support, knowledge, and tools they need to better understand neurodivergence and thrive in their everyday lives.

We believe in inclusion, understanding, and building communities where every mind is valued.

🛠️ What We Do

At NEST, we offer:

  • Accessible information and advice about neurodevelopmental differences including Autism, ADHD, and FASD

  • Workshops designed to help individuals, families, and professionals learn more about living with and supporting neurodivergence

  • A safe space for questions, connection, and support—no diagnosis required

👥 Who Is the Service For?

Our service is open to anyone in Ayrshire who wants to learn more about neurodivergence—whether you're:

  • A young person navigating school

  • A parent or carer seeking advice

  • A professional looking to understand more

  • Or simply someone curious and wanting support

You do not need a formal diagnosis to access our service.
