We’re excited to share that a new Neurodevelopmental Learning & Development Advisor role is now open at NEST.
This fixed‑term post is based in East Ayrshire, and offers a meaningful opportunity to support the children and young people’s workforce across East Ayrshire.

to empower neurodivergent children, young people, adults families and the professionals who support them.
We do this by creating accessible resources, offering supportive training and building a community where everyone feels understood, valued and included.

💡 What the Role Involves
As a Neurodevelopmental Learning & Development Advisor, you’ll help shape high‑quality learning opportunities for staff across East Ayrshire. Your work will support teams to feel confident, informed and empowered when working with neurodivergent children and young people.
Your day‑to‑day work may include:
Developing accessible training and learning materials
Supporting staff understanding of autism, ADHD, FASD and other neurodevelopmental differences
Helping promote strengths‑based, inclusive and neuro‑affirming practice
Working closely with partners across the children and young people’s workforce
Contributing to NEST resources, events and community activities
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusion and who enjoys working collaboratively to make a difference.
